Ameersing Luximon is a Professor of Practice at the Georgia Tech Shenzhen Institute and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, with over 25 years of experience in academia and industry. He is the Vice President and former President of the Hong Kong Ergonomics Society (HKES). Among his notable contributions is i.Dummy, an award-winning robotic mannequin that won the Grand Award at Design For Asia and a Gold Prize at the 43rd International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva. His editorial work on the Handbook of Footwear Design and Manufacture and the book Design for Humanity highlights his dedication to socially responsible design.
